story
the cheese is made from raw milk from the farmers around the appenberg. the cows enjoy the finest grass and herbs of regional mountain flora. the older the cheese gets, the more intensely it develops.
character
this strong-character semi-hard cheese impresses with its recent, rustic aroma. it does also manage to have a slight nutty quality.

it is the old appenberg who gives our truffle fondue the unique spice. Great on a burger as well and once you try it, you cannot leave it.

All of our cheese is shipped with labels that have best before dates. We commit to a minimum best before date of one week from the delivery date. Raclette cheese can be frozen for later use.
